FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE- HOUSTON

Quest Medical, Inc. located in Allen, Texas is a leading medical device manufacturer of cardiovascular, intravenous therapy, and ophthalmic devices. We currently have an opportunity for Field Sales Representative on our Sales team.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sell Quest products to quota in assigned area by calling on hospitals and other customers.
  • Provide customer support and maintain customer relations at MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • Develop and maintain working marketing plans which include short and long term marketing strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability of assigned product lines.
  • Provide high level of customer service and clinical support to customers.
  • Monitor and report sales performance, including revenue, average sales price and gross profit.
  • Identify line extensions and new product opportunities for assigned product lines.
  • Train customers on use of Quest products.
  • Maintain good current knowledge of competitive product offerings and pricing trends.
  • Researches and provides documented customer requirements as inputs to the product development process.
  • Receive and process complaints from customers.
  • Maintain awareness of product complaint levels, complaint investigations, and corrective actions and supervise customer communications.
  • Responsible for communications with key OEM customers, including sales forecasts, product changes, and new business opportunities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with Inside Sales representatives.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or science discipline or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years favorable sales experience or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively communicate/demonstrate technical material and product function at a clinical level.
  • Ability to comfortably and credibly interface with health professionals.
  • Excellent communication and social interaction skills.
  • Must be punctual, well organized, self-driven, reliable, and ambitious – at all times presenting a professional appearance.
